    Born and raised in New York City, Adam Rosner's early fascination with medicine laid the foundation for a notable career in optometry. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, he sharpened his skills and deepened his commitment to exceptional patient care.

     

    His path to becoming an optometrist was shaped by shadowing respected local doctors, including Dr. Rachid Aouchiche. He gained his Ophthalmology Assistant Program certification under the mentorship of Richard McCoy, LDO, and underwent hands-on training at Elmquest Eye Group. Over time, his passion for the medical field grew, solidifying his dedication to his role as a healthcare provider. His undergraduate studies in Communications and Biology at the University of Miami equipped him to better engage with patients and manage complex eye conditions. He completed extensive coursework and valuable externships in New York City, reinforcing his ability to practice as a Doctor of Optometry at a high standard.

     

    He began his professional journey with a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, where he studied Communications and minored in Biology on a Pre-med track. He later obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious State University of New York College of Optometry, graduating in 2023.

     

    His clinical proficiency includes completing 4th-year rotations at SUNY College of Optometry at various sites, including Woodhull Medical Center, SUNY Advanced Care & East New York Eyecare, Omni Eye Services, and SUNY University Eye Center.
